Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We at Blackpool Gateway Academy provide a broad and balanced curriculum for ALL our children. As a school we are committed to providing a high quality education to all the children living in our local area. We recognise that pupils learn in different rates and there are many factors which can affect their achievement. We want to produce an inclusive environment and raise the aspirations of and expectations for all pupils with SEN. Through quality first teaching and targeted and focused support, we want all pupils to meet their full potential.

Our School Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is Mrs Helen Piggott. Please contact her for additional information regarding Sen provision in our school.

The information report, details of our local offer for school and our accessibility report can be accessed using the links below. You can also view out SEND and Inclusion policy here too.

Disabled Access is available at the main entrance of school. Disabled parking is available at the side of school, via the main staff car park, and disabled toilet facilities are available on the upper and lower level. A lift is also available.
